First Ruthmann T540 for UK/Ireland

Ross Blasting and Elevation of Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland ordered a 54 metre Ruthmann T540 truck mounted lift at its unveiling in Düsseldorf, Germany earlier this month.

The order will be the first to be delivered in the UK and Ireland. For more information on the T540 see: Ruthmann unveils T540.

The sand blasting company - owned and operated by father and son Peter and Joe Clerkin - is expected to take delivery of the T540 in the spring of 2013 making it the latest truck mount in its four machine fleet. The company also claims it will be the largest truck mounted lift to be based in Northern Ireland.

Joe Clerkin was also impressed with the 33 metre T330 mounted on a 7.5 tonne chassis which was also exhibited in Düsseldorf and is looking to purchase one to replace one of the company’s older machines.
