A lucky escape
A video has been posted on Youtube this week from Russia, showing a truck crane lifting a dozer into what looks like a dry dock.

Down she goes
The dozer proves to be too heavy for the crane especially as it pays out more cable. And as a result the crane starts to go. Thankfully the operator manages to sense the danger and jumps clear before it is too late.

It doesn’t look as though either pieces of equipment will be easy to rebuild
There are always cranedrivers who think to be stronger than the law of gravity...why? The crane looks like a Russian 25 or 30 metric tons Maaz or a Supermaaz. With a bulldozer this size in the hook, you don't go that far with a small crane...Keep it safe guys !
