Liebherr has officially confirmed that it will launch two Rough Terrain cranes at Conexpo the LRT models will initially be 90 and 100 tonnes with a full power 47 metre boom on the 90 and a 50 metre telematik pinned boom on the LRT-1100

Liebherr Rough Terrain Models will be 'simple and safe' with classic Cummins engines, Dana powershift transmissions and rear oscillating axle but will also feature hydraulic disc brakes, Variobase outrigger system with auto level, the Liccon control and load limiter system, standard auxiliary hoists and boom nose. A 10.5 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway option with up to 40 degrees of offset will also be available. All units will be designed as global machines meeting the latest standards from all major markets. Production will be at Ehingen in Germany from the second half of next year, and will be very price competitive according to Liebherr.

They are 29.5 x 25s pretty typical six for this type of RT.

You are right Luc, the prototypes we saw had Yokaham Radials
Any idea what kind of tires will be fitted ? Have noticed that radials or becoming more and more popular on rough terrain cranes.
