Havator takes two Wumag WT1000
The Havator Group of Finland has purchased two of the new Wumag WT1000 102.5 metre truck mounted aerial lifts, along with a 53 metre Wumag WT 530

Havator is the largest crane company in the Nordic region with revenues of over €70 million, 20 locations across Finland, Sweden, Norway, Russia and the Baltic states with over 400 employees.
The group, which was founded in 1947 by Ahti Hanhirova (1918-1990), the father of the current chairman, has been highly acquisitive in recent years and now comprises five divisions:

A Havator crane, work platform and jacking system on one job
-Havator Cranes runs a fleet of around 400 cranes from five tonnes up to the 1,250 tonne Demag CC 6800;
-Havator Access operates a fleet of over 400 aerial lifts the largest of which was, until now a 68 metre truck mount;
-Polar Lift now specialises in dock crane services;
-Havator Montage is a specialist steel and concrete installation company and -
-Havator Transport a heavy specialised transport business.
The ownership of Havator has also just changed with Erkki Hanhirova reducing his shareholding from 75 percent to 60.9 percent while the employees through Havator Employees Oy now own 18.8 percent.
Long standing investors, Keskinäinen työeläkevakuutusyhtiö Varma, a private pension fund and the Kaupthing Bank have reduced their holdings slightly to 12.7 percent and 7.6 percent respectively.
