After a slow start and the loss of a good number of international visitors due to the flight disruptions, attendance on Thursday Friday and Saturday was exceptionally strong with many companies recording strong sales.

However overall attendance did fall 17 percent from 2007 levels to 415,000 visitors from 200 countries. While much of the loss did come from overseas, the general economy did also affect local numbers. 65 percent of attendees were from Germany and 35 percent from elsewhere.
The weather also remained bright improving throughout the week, while foreign exhibitors expressed some disappointment most had to admit that overall it was a great show.
We will bring you more photos during the week and in the May issue of Cranes & Access as we catch up with massive volumes of material that we have generated.
In the meantime here are just a few more photos from the back end of the week.
