Andy Wright, the former chief executive of Sunbelt Rentals UK, has been appointed as executive chairman of the Vital Group/Vital Power, a generator sales and rental company based in Coventry, UK.
He was briefly involved with the company before as a director before joining A-Plant/Sunbelt. He also has a wide experience of the temporary power market, having worked for Aggreko prior to entering the access market in 2006, and spent 18 months as chief executive of RSS temporary power in Dubai, before returning to the UK in 2016.

In a statement he said: “I had more than five fantastic years at Sunbelt Rentals and enjoyed every minute of it, having met and worked with some incredible people. Teamwork, hard work and collaboration is at the heart of being consistently successful and we delivered this in buckets over those five years.”
