Chinese aerial manufacturer Sinoboom formally opened its new subsidiary and distribution facility in Jundiaí, São Paulo state on the north side of São Paulo in southern Brazil. The new facility will be responsible for machine sales, after sales service, spare parts supply, and training.
The opening event last week was attended by around 100 people, including representatives from dozens of Brazilian rental companies along with senior Sinoboom managers, including chief executive Susan Xu and marketing director Dawei He. The new subsidiary will be managed by Marcelo Yamane who joined the company last August as business development director for Brazil.
Yamane said: “The South American market contains huge potential. Sinoboom has already found favour with many in the rental industry across the region and already enjoys high brand recognition.”
“The establishment of this new Brazilian subsidiary will provide full life cycle solutions and services, with a localized business approach that is tailored to Brazilian customers’ expectations, allowing us to be extremely close to, and responsive to, the local market.”
Sinoboom has been active in the south American market since 2010.
