Vertikal Comment

This management/leadership changeover was ‘on the cards’ when the acquisition was agreed at the end of 2022, with Lenny ready at least for semi-retirement, while Ryan and Nathan were not natural fits for a private equity firm like Metrika SGR which acquired a majority stake in CMC earlier in 2022. It is far more likely that they will start a new business of their own once any non-compete clauses have expired.
In the meantime, Poggi seems to have picked up the key elements and aspects of the access industry pretty quickly and having worked in Italy at times in the past, appears comfortable with the CMC management team.
