Liebherr has signed an agreement with Swedish simulator manufacturer Tenstar Simulation for the development of mobile crane simulators
Daniel Pitzer of Liebherr (L) and Freddy Lund of Tenstar
The agreement - signed at Bauma - follows the introduction of its first crane simulator in 2024. The current simulator replicates the real LTM 1060-3.1 and includes crane set up functions and hook block assembly procedures.

Liebherr commercial director Daniel Pitzer said: "We have worked with Tenstar on an equal footing from the very beginning and are delighted to continue this partnership in the future."

Crane Lads.....
I agree. The old days when a young apprentice would be sent out with an older experienced journeyman are going the way of manual outriggers and gasoline engines.
Simulators are not a substitute for real world training/experience.

You can't get better training than on the job training.
