The K2500 - purchased through distributor Kranlyft UK - features a four section 37 metre main boom topped by a five section telescopic jib for a maximum tip height of almost 59 metres at which point it can handle 500kg. It can also take one tonne to radius of 36 metres at a height of 26.5 metres, while at its maximum radius of 45.5 metres, it can handle 500kg at a height of 20 metres.

ALN managing director Alan Nash said: "We found it difficult to keep our contractors happy with ever changing programme dates and crane companies unable to accommodate the short notice date changes, so we decided to bring all the contract lifting requirements in house."

"Operating our own cranes has most definitely improved the service we can offer to our clients and contractors. We arrange the lifting requirements to suit the build programme and are able to be flexible by being able to move things around to suit our contractors' requests."

Based in Newmarket, North East of Cambridge, ALN Carpentry & Joinery was established in 2006 by managing director Alan Nash and now employs 300, it also runs a Böcker AK 46 truck crane.
