Drunken crane operator arrested
A crane operator is being held in prison having smashed into several cars on the Long Island Expressway, New York on Wednesday.

The scene as Sinclair was arrested
The operator, Brian Sinclair, 47, of Bay Crane, struck and seriously damaged four cars before he was forced to stop, when a police officer, having slowed the crane down, managed to climb into the cab and threaten him at gun point.

Sinclair is facing charges of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. He was given $5,000 bail but declined to post it and remains in jail. Meanwhile it is understood that none of the drivers of the cars that were involved are in critical condition.
