Koala lift

Niftylift has donated a refurbished trailer lift to the new koala sanctuary at Port Stephens in New South Wales, Australia.

The new sanctuary is being built on ground within the Treescape holiday park as a partnership between Port Stephens Council, the NSW Government and Port Stephens Koalas. It is expected to open in August and will cater for sick, injured and orphaned koalas. Click here to watch the NBN news video

Niftylift Australia refurbished the 12 metre lift to an ‘as new’ condition and has provided the training and safety equipment for the park staff as they begin their work in the sanctuary, prior to opening up to the public. The move follows the dreadful devastation caused to the region's Koala population by last year’s bush fires. See page 41 of Cranes & Access November 2019
