Video footage of a ground failure

Some of you will have noticed that we added a new video to our video library earlier in the week. From the number of you continuing to send us a copy, it is clear that many have not spotted it yet.

The video clip documents an accident in New Zealand that we covered back in August. A crane working on an engineered platform alongside a stream is lifting a foot/cycle bridge into position when the platform, drenched with torrential rains overnight the platform was compromised and as the weight of the bridge came over one of the outriggers the entire bank gave way throwing the crane over onto its back.
