Merlo and LTECH to co-operate

Russian sales and rental company LTECH has announced that it has signed a co-operation agreement with Italian based telehandler manufacturer Merlo.

Under the agreement LTECH becomes a Merlo key partner for rental of lifting equipment. According to LTECH this is the first and only such agreement by Merlo in Russia.

The company is planning a major promotion of the Merlo product line through its rental fleet, in order to allow potential customers “to evaluate and appreciate the quality and universality of the Merlo machines”. It believes that this policy will increase the popularity of the equipment in Russia and stimulate new sales.

As part of the programme LTECH says that it will upgrade its telehandler rental fleet with new 30 new Merlo units, the majority of which will be straight frame 17 metre models. Although 10 of the units will be Roto 360 degree models with lift heights of 21 metres and above.

The agreement also includes a commitment by LTECH to supply all Merlo customers in the country with spare parts, while promoting the brand through trade shows and other events.
