New VP engineering at Link Belt

US crane manufacturer Link Belt has promoted Don Moore to the post of vice president, design engineering.

Moore joined Link-Belt from college in 1977 as an associate design engineer in the tower gantry crane product group in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He later moved to the lattice boom crawler product group where he became a senior design engineer. In 1986 he transferred to Lexington, Kentucky, when that facility began manufacturing lattice boom cranes.
Since then he has managed various design functions including hydraulic cranes, on-highway carriers and most recently, all lattice and telescopic crawler crane products.
