European expansion?

Spotted at a trade show or conference and sent to us by a reader from Switzerland, a sign which looked like a major rental industry scoop.

A sign of the imminent arrival of an American rental company in Europe?

It turned out that the exhibitor was totally unrelated to RSC Rental – currently being merged into United Rentals.

Thing is we weren’t told what company or orgnisation it was? It could be the ANSI Regional Standing Committee- Europe - probably - or there again it could be RSC-Europe Ltd, the car breakers from Accrington, Lancashire?

Certainly not an early indicator of the arrival of the big American rental company in Europe – ah well.
