New president for JLG

Oshkosh, the owner of JLG, has promoted JLG president Wilson Jones, his current role will be taken by Frank Nerenhausen, currently president of McNeilus.

Jones new position is chief operating officer of Oshkosh’s JLG, fire/emergency and commercial businesses along with the company’s Asian operations, reporting to Oshkosh chief executive Charlie Szews. The appointment is effective August 1st.

Jones, who took over from Craig Paylor in May 2010, has been in the specialty vehicle manufacturing industry for more than 20 years. He joined Oshkosh in 2005 as general manager of the airport products business unit and later became vice-president, sales and marketing for the fire and emergency group. In 2007 he was promoted to president of Pierce Manufacturing and to the position of executive vice-president of the Fire and Emergency segment in 2008.

Frank Nerenhausen has spent 26 years with Oshkosh and served in a number of key executive sales and finance positions, taking over as president of the commercial segment and McNeilus in 2010. Todd Fierro, currently vice president of operations at McNeilus, takes over his role as president.
