Six carriage mounted ladder platforms at work on a Zeppelin in the 1930s


Scaffold towers are used for the underside and lower sides of the ship, while carriage mounted ladder platforms were employed to gain access to the sides and front.

Things have changed considerably since then, but you cannot but wonder how stable those platforms were to work from?
