New products from JLG

JLG will unveil a number of new products at the ARA and Intermat this year, including a new Rough Terrain scissor lift, new mid-range boom lifts and new hybrid powered articulated boom lifts.

The company is keeping details of the new products close to its chest until the official launch. The new hybrid models will extend the range from 34ft to 66ft. All models will employ the same concept as the current H340AJ with four wheel AC electric drive motors, and both battery electric and diesel power sources.

At Intermat the company will also unveil substantial updates to its ES scissor lifts, with a new steel diamond plate decks, new steel covers, an increased overall width from 30 to 32 inches, slightly lower overall weight, and new controller to meet the latest European standards.

The updated JLG ES scissor lifts are wider and feature steel decks and covers

The company will also show a new 26 metre spider lift - the X26J Plus - with a 230kg unrestricted platform capacity and lithium ion power pack. Stowed dimensions are under a metre wide and two metres high. A new jib design and platform rotation improves up-and-over capabilities, while an improved electric motor provides 20 percent more torque and 43 percent more speed that other models.
