Dino 105TL for UK

UK based Harfords Security has purchased a 10.5 metre Dinolift 105TL telescopic trailer lift – possibly the first in the UK.

The company, which supplies a wide range or equipment, including CCTV and alarm systems, is located in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, and purchased the new machine from Dinolift’s UK distributor Central Platform Services (CPS).

A long term CPS customer, the company bought the new machine to replace a Genie trailer and scissor lift. It said that its work is only almost invariably under 10 metres, and rarely requires more than one person to work at height.

However the main selling point was the machine’s low overall weight – just 950kgs complete with hydraulic outriggers – which combined with its overall length of 5.5 metres, allowing it to be towed by almost any vehicle. In spite of this the unit offers 6.5 metres of outreach, exceeding the larger machine that it replaced. Platform capacity is 130kg unrestricted.

John Burton of CPS (L) hands the new Dinolift to Mike Harford of Harfords Security

Joint owner and director Michael Harford said: “The guys at CPS were able to demonstrate a Dino to me quickly and were happy to take my old machines as part of the deal. I have dealt with them for a number of years and had bought things from them before. The Dino product is undoubtedly a quality bit of kit and will be excellent for what I want at the right price”.

“Nick Childs, sales director at CPS added: “Mick had requirements that were a good fit for the Dino product. The 105TL is the baby of the Dino range but is still robustly made and designed to stand the test of time”.
CPS was appointed as Dinolift’s service partner at Vertikal Days in May and then confirmed as a full service distributor for the UK and Ireland at the start of October, since then it has added Leguan boom lifts to its portfolio.
