Gardemann purchasers revealed

The two men behind the purchase of Germany's Gardemann platform rental business have been revealed as Christian van Eeden and Maarten Mintleff.

The two men were formerly part of the management team at EVA (Eisenbahn Verkehrsmittel Gesellschaft mbH) a railway transportation business that Brambles sold late last year. Finance for the deal is being underwritten by Deutsche Bank.

Karl-Hans Franzen, the current CEO of Gardemann, revealed the identities of the new owners in a letter sent to all Gardemann depots. He welcomed the men's arrival but indicated that he would shortly be handing over all his responsibilities to the new management team.
