Ainscough upgrades Invergordon depot

UK based Ainscough Crane Hire has opened a new depot in Invergordon, northern Scotland.

The 2,587 square metre site replaces the company’s previous location in Invergordon, as it looks to expand its wind energy offering. The site is fully under cover, and home to a fleet of five cranes. The additional space provides room for workshops allowing the depot to service, inspect and maintain its own cranes.

Ainscough’s new Invergordon depot

Depot manager Rebekah Tippett said: “Everyone at Ainscough Crane Hire is proud to open this fantastic new depot in Invergordon, which represents both Ainscough's commitment to the wind energy sector and our determination to continually improve the service we offer new and existing clients. We are aware of the complexities that many construction projects entail, and as well as our new location we are exploring what we can do to innovate in the sector. Wind energy will prove to be increasingly important in the years ahead, and we anticipate that Ainscough will play a key role in helping bring dynamic and innovative schemes to life. This, combined with our ongoing work on other significant construction and infrastructure projects across the region, means this is a hugely exciting time for Ainscough and our clients in Scotland.”

Ainscough has a total of 30 depots around the UK, employs over 900 and operates a fleet of over 400 cranes.
