Onsite Rental acquires Prime Rentals

Sydney, Australia based Onsite Rental Group has acquired Queensland equipment rental company Prime Rentals. Prime offers a wide range of equipment including telehandlers, boom and scissor lifts, as well as welders, generators and earth moving equipment. It operates from branches in Gladstone, Rockhampton, Blackwater, Bowen, Brisbane, Mackay, Emerald, Moranbah, Roma and Wandoan. The acquisition is part of Onsite’s ongoing expansion strategy, which includes acquisitions and organic growth.

Onsite chief executive Mike Foureur said: "The acquisition of Prime Rentals is transformational and will significantly strengthen Onsite’s capability in Queensland, delivering significant synergies to the company’s business operations, customer base and enhance the asset profile, giving considerable flexibility to better serve customers from its national platform."

Onsite’s fleet includes more than 70,000 items including aerial work platforms up to 180ft, telehandlers to 12 tonnes capacity and 20.7 metres lift height and general construction equipment. It employs more than 450 in 30 plus branches and multiple partner site locations.

No financial details of the acquisition have been disclosed.
