Grove men included in Manitowoc senior team

Glen Tellock, president of Manitowoc Crane Group, manufacturer of Potain, Grove and Manitowoc cranes, has announced the newest additions to his senior management team. They include personnel from Grove, Manitowoc and Potain as listed below.

* Jeffry Bust becomes executive vice president of Manitowoc Crane Group and chief executive officer of Grove Worldwide

* Steve Cripe becomes controller of Manitowoc Crane Group

* Larry Weyers becomes senior vice president - worldwide marketing and product support

* Pierre-Yves LeDaeron becomes general manager - aerial work platforms. This includes Liftlux (and TKD), Grove Manlift and Grove Delta.

A company statement commented that:

"As executive vice president of Manitowoc Crane Group and chief executive officer of Grove Worldwide, Jeff Bust will assist Tellock with major strategic initiatives including his current role as transition manager for the Grove and Potain acquisitions, as well as identifying and evaluating future acquisitions, plus undertaking other special assignments.

"As Crane Group controller, Steve Cripe, former chief financial officer of Grove Worldwide, will have full financial responsibility for the Crane Group. Prior to his position at Grove, Steve has held several senior level financial positions with major manufacturers including Tenneco Automotive and Allied Signal.

"Larry Weyers, former senior vice president of sales and marketing for Manitowoc Cranes, will now serve as senior vice president of worldwide marketing and product support. Larry's pre-Manitowoc experience provided him a wide range of operational and retail experience - as general manager of a parts business; as head of engineering, and in the retail business at an equipment dealership. This breadth of experience positions him well to keep the Crane Group in touch with the customer's voice from marketing through post-sale support.

"As general manager of aerial work platforms, Pierre-Yves LeDaeron will manage the various aerial work platform businesses as a consolidated group. Prior to joining Potain in 1996, Pierre-Yves served as marketing director for a division of Swiss-based Hilti Corporation from 1991 to 1996. Additionally, he was affiliated with Boston Consulting Group from 1986 to 1991".
