PASMA Conference 2019

PASMA, the UK based mobile scaffold tower association, held its conference last week in Coventry.

The two day event was attended by around 170 people, with the first day featuring starter sessions, dinner and drinks, while the second day kicked off with the annual members meeting, where chairwoman Gillian Rutter handed over to Roger Verallo, who returns as chairman, having chaired the association from 2009 to 2013.

The conference kicked off with PASMA managing director Peter Bennett welcoming delegates and members, followed by a talk from Pete Harley and John Darby of PASMA discussing the working at height regulations for mobile access towers. Presentations throughout the day were held on a range of topics including managing working at height, the evolution of towers through the decades, using social media to promote training courses, and women in the industry.

The following pictures will hopefully provide a flavour of the event.
