Liebherr reachstackers for Russia

Russian transport and logistics centre Freight Village Kaluga has taken delivery of two Liebherr LRS 545-31 reachstackers.

The LRS 545-31 can stack five containers high and has a maximum capacity of 45 tonnes. The machines feature hydrostatic drive, eliminating the torque converter and differential, which Liebherr claims results in fuel consumption around 25 percent lower than conventional units.

Established in 2013, the Freight Village Kaluga is located in the industrial area Vorsino in south west Moscow. The new machines will handle containers at the logistics centre.
