Neotec for Furrer + Frey

The German subsidiary of the Swiss overhead line construction company Furrer + Frey has taken delivery of a 53ft Neotec Skyrailer 400 boom lift.

The Skyrailer 400 provides an outreach of 8.6 metres and a platform capacity of 400kg, and was delivered by Neotec dealer France Elévateur Germany. It will be used for the construction and maintenance of electrical overhead contact line systems for the railway.

Furrer + Frey Deutschland operations manager Patrick Wolff said: “The Skyrailer 400 is a real asset to us. The performance data as well as the simple and intuitive operation convinced us.”

Furrer + Frey Deutschland is located in Berlin, while the parent company is based in Bern, Switzerland where it was founded in 1923. The company was also heavily involved in setting up leading Swiss aerial lift rental company UpAG in 1984. Today the company operates from locations in Bellinzona, Montreux and Zurich in Switzerland, with international locations in London, Rome and Guangzhou, as well as Berlin, Germany.
