Liebherrs for Hennemann

German rental company Hennemann Holzbau has taken delivery of two Liebherr All Terrain cranes, a 30 tonne LTM 1030-2.1 and a 70 tonne LTM 1070-4.2.

The twin axle LTM 1030-2.1 features a 30 metre main boom plus a 15 metre extension, and replaces an older LTM 1030. The four axle LTM 1070-4.2 has a 50 metre main boom and features a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, and replaces a LTM 1060/2 All Terrain crane. Both cranes have been ordered with remote controls.

Hennemann’s two new Liebherr cranes

Owner Peter Hennemann said: “The purchase of replacements for the two cranes, which are well over 10 years old, is an important step for us as we prepare ourselves properly for the future. We use our cranes almost exclusively for our own timber construction projects. Most of our crane work is in the 60 to 70 tonne range. Right across Germany, we have orders for shopping centres and logistics halls, in which glue laminated timbers of up to 40 metres in length and up to 10 tonnes in weight have to be installed. The Liebherr cranes with 10 tonne axle load offer us the flexibility we need in this area.”
