New Hy-Brids for Advantage

US rental company Advantage Rental has taken delivery of the first units in a 20 unit order for the new 19ft Hy-Brid PS-1930 scissor lifts as well as a number of 16ft Hy-Brid ZT-1630 scissor lifts.

Launched at the ARA earlier this year, the PS-1930 is the first and largest model in the company’s new ‘Pro Series’ range. With a stowed height of under 1.9 metres an overall width of 762mm wide can pass easily through standard single doorway and into elevators without need to fold down guardrails. The overall weight is 900kg, while platform capacity is just under 300kg. Features include a 762mm deck extension, a low step-in platform height and the company’s LeakGuard system.

Rental manager John Ganiear said: “I jumped on the opportunity to order the new models from Hy-Brid Lifts because I was so impressed with their previous models. The ZT-1630 features fit the specific needs of our customers in many industries, and they fill a gap that we hadn’t previously offered in our line up. Our customers are doing everything from changing lightbulbs in hospital hallways to installing overhead pipe or electrical line. They need a lift that is compact enough for small hallways and elevators. Customers also ask for lifts without folding rails, and have been impressed with the Hy-Brid model.”
