Vertikal Days 2020

The organisers of Vertikal Days have confirmed it is increasingly clear that holding the event on May 13th is no longer viable, for a number of reasons. Including the challenges faced by those travelling from overseas, to company travel bans among exhibitors and visitors, to government advice and possible future rulings, and most importantly to avoid any additional risk of spreading the Covid19 virus.

The event has not been cancelled, simply postponed and possible alternative dates have already been reserved at the venue. But before the final decision is taken the organisers feel that it would be better to see how the pandemic develops over the next two to three weeks and use that time to consult with exhibitors and visitors alike on the alternative dates. Also it makes no sense to postpone twice, so taking a little more time before selecting the final date seems wise.

Based on previous periods of crisis, once everyone is satisfied that we are all well past the worst of it, and life begins to settle down, all those involved with lifting, and working at height will want to meet up, talk about the return to normal business and even look at the latest new product developments, in a relaxed atmosphere.

Keep an eye out for information on the visitor survey regarding the alternative dates, the more people that participate the better informed the final decision will be.
