MD change at Nationwide Platforms

The managing director of UK based rental company Nationwide Platforms, Colin Hotchkiss, has moved to a new role as programme director of the Loxam Powered Access Division, reporting to the division’s chief executive Don Kenny.

He had been in the role since joining Nationwide in September 2018 from the Garic site cabin sales and rental division of Bibby where he had been managing director for the previous three years. In his new role he will be responsible for developing the strategy for the Europe wide division following the emergence from the current Covid-19 crisis and beyond.

Colin Hotchkiss

At the same time Kenny has replaced him as managing director of Nationwide Platforms on an interim basis, alongside his divisional role with Loxam. Kenny joined Lavendon/Nationwide in 2011 as chief executive from contractor and facilities management group Carillion.

Don Kenny

While most members of Nationwide’s senior management team will now report directly to Kenny, Philip Wainwright takes over responsibility for the company’s sales & marketing department, with Brian Stead, Simon Beckett, Richard Morris, Scott Graham and Matt Ross all reporting to him.

Wainwright was previously business development director of Loxam’s Powered Access Division, having joined the company from contractor Bilfinger Europa in 2017. He also served as interim managing director of Nationwide until Hotchkiss took over in 2018.
