65ft DC scissor from Dingli

Dingli has introduced a battery powered version of its 65ft JCPT2223RTB scissor lift.

The new JCPT2223DC is said to share the same performance capabilities as the diesel equivalent but has been equipped with a heavy duty 48v 620Ah full traction battery driving AC wheel and pump motors, which the company says provides more than eight hours of continuous operation under typical heavy working conditions.

The specification is identical to the diesel powered RTB, with four wheel drive, four wheel steer, drive at full height at maximum capacity, 22 metres working height, 750kg platform capacity, while a massive single 2.7 metre hydraulic powered roll out deck extension takes the extended platform length to 7.3 metres.

Overall width is 2.46 metres, with a stowed length of 4.95 metres and a transport height of three metres, total weight is 13.4 tonnes. A large percentage of the components and parts on this new model are also identical with the diesel version.

The move follows the launch last month of its lithium-ion range of boom lifts which are based on its European designed boom lift range and targeted at increased demand for cleaner quiet and more efficient large aerial work platforms. It is also planning to unveil a 1.2 metre wide version of this lift later in the year.
