New Aichi Euro boom

Japanese aerial lift manufacturer Aichi has launched a new 46ft telescopic boom lift for the European market - the SP14DJ, part of a strategy to return to the mainstream European market by the manufacturer which will include new distribution arrangements and initiatives which have yet to be announced.

Successor to the company’s SP14CJ, the SP14DJ features a three section telescopic boom topped by an articulated jib to offer a maximum working height of 15.9 metres, an outreach of 12.6 metres and an unrestricted platform capacity of 270kg.

Aichi's 46ft SP14 DJ boom lift for the European market


It has an overall width of 2.3 metres, an overall transport length of 7.75 metres, and can pass under a 2.5 metre overhead obstruction. The overall weight is 8,450kg, and it is fully compliant with the latest EN280 standards, and powered by a Stage V Yanmar diesel with particulate filter.

The SP14 DJ boom lift offers a maximum outreach of 12.6 metres


German rental companies Udert Mietgeräte and Meyer Lift have taken delivery of the first units from the newly appointed distributor Team Liftservice & Parts (TLP), while Siegen based rental company Metz Arbeitsbühnen has also ordered units for its fleet.

Udert Mietgeräte's four new Aichi SP14 DJ boom lifts


Based in Langenhagen, just north of Hanover, TLP is now responsible for the sale of Aichi booms and scissor lifts in all German speaking countries, having previously been an Aichi service partner and spare parts supplier.
