First Waste Expert in Italy

Italian tyre and rubber recycling company Gatim has taken delivery of the first 7.5 metre/4.3 tonne Bobcat TL43.80HF Waste Expert telehandler from newly appointed dealer La Nordica Macchine.

The TL43.80HF features a two section boom with a maximum forward reach of four metres. It has an overall width of 2.3 metres, an overall length from rear bumper to fork face of five metres and a turning radius of 3.71 metres.

The new telehandler will be used at the company’s recycling plant in the treatment, crushing and processing stages of recycling the tyres. Forks will be fitted for handling the untreated tyres, while a bucket attachment has been supplied for the second and third stages of the treatment process.

The delivery of the TL43.80HF marks the first Bobcat Waste Expert telehandler in Italy

Gatim general manager, Domenico Azzarito, said: "Bobcat's Waste Expert telescopic loader is smaller than its competitors. The TL43.80HF maintains high levels of power and excellent performance. The compactness of the machine makes movement easier in cramped environments and the lightweight 2.1 metre wide materials bucket we use on the machine satisfies our specific need to load containers from the rear, where the access width is only 2.25 metres. The ability to push material to the bottom and back of the containers with the telescopic boom is also key."
