16 Link Belts for ALL

US crane rental group ALL has started taking delivery of 11 Link Belt crawler cranes – including the TCC-800 launched at ConExpo – as well as four truck cranes and a Rough Terrain crane.

The crawler crane order comprises nine telescopic crawler cranes - four 45 tonne TCC-500s, a 125 tonne TCC-1400 and four of Link Belt’s latest model - the 75 tonne TCC-800 - which was launched at Conexpo earlier this year as a replacement for the TCC-750. It features a four section 36.5 metre pinned main boom plus an optional 10.6 or 17.6 metre bi-fold swingaway lattice extension for a maximum tip height of 56.2 metres. The company is also taking delivery of two 180 tonne 248-HSL lattice crawler cranes.

The truck crane order is for four 55 tonne HTC-8660, while the Rough Terrain is a 90 tonne 100RT Rough Terrain launched in 2018 – see: New 90t RT from Link Belt.

Joe Ruddell, retail sales manager of ALL’s Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, said: “Link-Belt truck cranes and RTs are staples of our taxi fleet, while the TCC units can be transported in single loads, which is economical for customers. The TCC-500 sees a lot of use setting rebar cages, on power line projects, and on smaller steel jobs. The 500 and 800 are both popular for bridge work. With the fully retractable boom, they can crawl into tight spaces. The 800 is also an ideal upgrade to the TCC-750 that we have loved and relied on for years.”
ALL has also ordered a 90 tonne 100RT Rough Terrain crane
Deliveries have started with the balance being phased over the rest of the year and into 2021.

Established in 1964, family-owned ALL Family of Companies comprises of ALL, Central, Dawes, Jeffers and ALT. The company operates a large fleet of cranes, topped by a 907 tonne Manitowoc 21000 crawler crane, from 31 locations in the US and two in Canada. It also has a large transport fleet as well as offering aerial lifts and telehandlers.
