Terex tower cranes appoints Cranbalt

Terex has appointed sales and rental company Cranbalt as its tower crane distributor for Sweden, formalising a partnership that already exists in the Baltic countries.

Cranbalt has been working with lifting and handling equipment for more than 50 years, having been established in 1966. It manufactures industrial and overhead cranes, runs a tower crane rental fleet - with both self-erectors and top slewers - and is a Genie dealer. It runs a dedicated service team of technicians and holds a significant replacement parts inventory. It sells and rents its products throughout the Nordic/Baltic area and has worked with Terex for a number of years.

Cranbalt chief executive Arvydas Bagdonas said: “For years we have been working with Terex in the Baltics and Sweden, and we have been satisfied with the cooperation every step of the way. We believe this partnership will play a major role in our growth of operations. Sweden has been a strategic market for our organisation in the last couple of years. Having a formal partnership with the Terex brand is also a step forward for us. We are proud and excited to expand our possibility to offer Terex tower cranes to our customers in Sweden. From now on we will be able to support the customer with a full package of sales and rental of tower cranes, spare parts, erection, dismantling and service functions. Maximum value to our customers is our priority and with Terex partnership in hand it will be easier for us to achieve that.“

Bartosz Irzyniec of Terex added: “A part of our strategy is to develop partnerships with trusted local distributors in order to be more responsive and provide better service quality in different markets. In the last few years Terex Tower cranes have been successfully gaining market share in Sweden and we are convinced that partnership with Cranbalt will help us to gain leadership position in this part of Europe.”
