Third Liebherr for Eastern
UK rental company Eastern Crane Hire has taken delivery of its third Liebherr crane since it was established in 2016 with a 60 tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain crane.
The three axle crane features a six section 48 metre main boom that offers a maximum radius of 40 metres. It is also equipped with a Stage V diesel and Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger system.
Eastern director Christopher Ashworth said: “As a small family run business it is a pleasure to welcome the LTM 1060 to our fleet of modern mobile cranes. Choosing to purchase another Liebherr was a simple decision for the business, the outstanding performance and build quality of our existing Liebherr machines continues to impress. The LTM 1060 is clearly the best in its class and a great machine to allow the company to continue its progression in the industry.”

Based in Chelmsford, Essex, the new crane joins two 40 tonne Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1s and 25 and 30 tonne Tadano cranes.
