Anti-entrapment is standard, as is the company’s telematics and diagnostics package and non-marking tyres. The battery powered machine includes a 24 volt full traction battery pack, which the company says is sufficient for a full shift and includes automatic battery monitoring and top up option. The machine has an overall width of 990mm and an overall height of 1.99 metres with a total weight of 2,650kg.

Manitou’s global product manager for aerial work platforms, Francois Desbriere, said: “The new VJR 26 is engineered with the customer in mind, incorporating new innovative features in safety and performance. The VJR 26 can quickly make multiple movements at the same time, from changing the platform direction to lifting the boom and rotating the machine making it one of the most efficient in the industry. Manitou’s telematics system gives the ability to manage the unit’s location, maintenance cycles and service warnings and the VJR comes with a two year/2,000 hour warranty.”
