Three 250t Demags for Dufour

Belgian crane rental company Dufour has taken delivery of three 250 tonne Demag AC 250-5 All Terrain cranes.

The five axle cranes feature a 70 metre main boom and comes with a 21 metre bi-fold swingaway extension and the company's IC-1 Plus control system, which creates custom load charts for the actual outrigger configuration and slew point selected. With an overall length of 14.49 metres, five axle steering, independent rear axle steering, and dynamic launch control, it is well suited for work on tight work sites. Many of the crane's components, such as the auxiliary hoists, boom extensions and heavy lift attachments etc... are interchangeable with other Demag five axle models. The new cranes will be used on the Grand Paris project constructing the rapid transit and underground rail lines in the Île-de-France region.

Dufour administrator, Olivier Dufour, said: “Above all, we value the high quality and reliability of the five axle machines from Zweibrücken. The interchangeable components also makes work easier for our service technicians and also lowers our inventory costs.”
