Business development manager for BSH

UK based battery dealer Battery Service Hub has appointed Stuart Parker as business development manager.

In his new role he will be responsible for supporting the ongoing growth of Battery Service Hub business, covering its full range of products to all industry sectors, but will pay particular attention to the supply of batteries to the powered access industry.
Parker has spent the past two years as parts manager with Global Recycling Solutions but has worked in the powered access industry for more than 18 years, having worked with Genie and APS/IPS/IAPS.

Stuart Parker


He began his career in 1996, working in the warehouse at Jackson Building Centres, joining Genie UK in a similar role three years later. He gradually progresses during his time at Genie to administration /order processing to European parts and support coordinator. He left in 2009 to join Access Platform Sales – APS – as parts manager, becoming national account manager for the IPS business after it merged with APS to create IAPS. He left the business in late 2018 to join Global Recycling.

Director Tom Coyne said: “As a company we are really pleased to welcome Stuart as a team member. We have known him for many years as a customer and became aware that he was seeking a new position within the Access Industry. After a short interview process, we felt confident in offering him a position. Stuart is nearly at the end of his first month with us and has really hit the ground running.”
