Gottwald for the Azores

Porto da Praia da Vitória, part of the Portuguese Azores archipelago in the north Atlantic, has taken delivery of a Konecranes Gottwald mobile harbour crane.

The 100 tonne Model 3 G HMK 3405 can take its maximum capacity to a radius of 40 metres with lifting speeds of up to 120 metres a minute. Supplied by Portuguese distributor Almovi, the crane will be used to load and unload containers and general cargo ships.
