New 25m Multitel

Multitel Pagliero has launched the first unit in its new MJ range with the 25 metre MJE 250 truck mounted lift.

The MJE 250 has a five section telescopic aluminium boom topped by an articulating jib. It is available on a Iveco Daily 35S14H, Mercedes Sprinter 311-314 or Isuzu M21 chassis, all with Euro 6 D low emission diesels. The stabilisation and levelling system comprises four equal beam and jack outriggers, with automatic completely variable set up.

Maximum platform capacity is 250kg, while maximum outreach is 14 metres over the side and 17 metres over the rear, both with 100kg in the platform.

The variable outrigger set up is part of the machines MUSA (Multitel-Self-Adapting outreach) system with additional “X” factor, which is said to combine the flexibility of the classic MUSA system where the outreach is calculated on the base of outrigger extension, weight in the cage, boom configuration - angle and length - with a new variable of chassis inclination, which accepts the machine working up to three degrees off level with the system adjusting for actual chassis angle. The effect, it is said is to maximise the work envelope.

The boom is made from high resistance aluminium alloys in a single extrusion without welds and can reach up to 3.5 metres below ground level with an extended boom.

The MJE 250 also features an aluminium alloy sub-frame, single button automatic outrigger set up and automatic return to transport position as standard, while a full telematics suite is available with GPS, machine status display, parameter setting and remote diagnosis.
