Dozen E-Drives for Midland Access

UK rental company Midland Access Platforms has taken delivery of a new package of Genie slab electric E-Drive scissor lifts.

Purchased through UK distributor Workplatform, the order consisted of six 19ft GS-1932 E-Drives, four 46ft GS-4655 E-Drives and two GS-4046 E-Drives.

The first batch of new Genie E-Drive scissor lifts are collected

Steve Beynon of Midland Access said: “The Genie GS-4655 E-Drives have been great for us, so much so that we have just invested in another two units. In fact the features on these units are that impressive we have now decided to move across to E-Drive with all of our future electric scissor purchases, starting with four GS-1932 E-Drives.”

Jonathan Hull of Workplatform added: “What’s not to like… longer cycle times, shorter charging times, quieter to operate, 70 percent fewer hoses and the benefit of having rear and side forklift pockets. The E-Drive scissors are definitely the way forward.”
