Unic for Metzo

Dutch sales and rental company Metzo Machinery has taken delivery of four Unic spider cranes and taken on the dealership.

The company purchased the units through the European region master distributor Unic/GGR and at the same time has been appointed as the Unic dealer for the Netherlands. The first four units include a six tonne URW-706-2, two 2.9 tonne URW-295s - one regular and one all electric battery powered Eco model - and a 2.9 tonne URW-376.

Metzo Machinery was founded by Eric Metz in 2006 following 25 years working with construction equipment manufacturers and dealers, including spells with O&K and Pon. The company is based in the village of Cruquius, between Haarlem and Hoofdorp, close to Schiphol airport on the west side of Amsterdam and employs six staff. It was recently appointed as the Komatsu Utility dealer for the mid-west region of the Netherlands, offering smaller excavators and loaders, backhoe loaders and skid steers. It sells new and used equipment throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the USA.
