Terex adds to N.America team

Terex Cranes has appointed Michael Goll as business development manager for its Rough Terrain cranes and Jonathon Caldwell as sales representative for tower cranes throughout North America. The move follows the appointment of Andreas Ernst as general manager for the Americas earlier this year – see: New GM for Terex Cranes N.America.

He began his career in 1996 as general manager of operations for U-Haul before joining crane company Deep South Equipment as regional branch manager in 2002. After 16 years with Deep South he moved to Briggs Equipment for a year before joining Wiggins. He will be responsible for the sales strategy of Terex’s Rough Terrain cranes and Franna pick & carry cranes across North America.

Jonathan Caldwell

Caldwell joins the company after three and a half years as manager of engineering with Allegiance Crane & Equipment. Prior to that he spent three years and as an applications engineer with AmQuip Crane Rentals, having started out as a project engineer with Mastermelt America in 2012. In his time at AmQuip he was also the two time recipient of the Terex Continuing Education Scholarship offered through the SC&R Foundation.

He said: “I’m extremely grateful to Terex for their contribution in helping me further my education and I look forward to applying my knowledge to support the growth of Terex tower cranes, which has a product portfolio that I have long admired—in particular the popular SK hammerhead models.”

Ernst added: “When buying a new machine, key attributes our customers look for are quality, performance, and aftermarket support. We are fortunate to have a strong parts and service support team, steeped in experience and knowledge of the industry with long serving team members. Additionally, the support team in Wilmington has served an average of 20 years in the crane business.”
