Fifth Jibbi for Gräber

German rental company Gräber Arbeitsbuehnen has taken delivery of a fifth 46ft Almac Jibbi 1670 tracked boom lift.

The Jibbi 1670 features a three section telescopic boom topped by an articulated jib to offer a working height of 16 metres, an outreach of 8.5 metres and a 250kg maximum platform capacity. It is able to offer track widths of 1.35 to 2.45 metres and can self-level on slopes up to 15 degrees while driving at heights of up to nine metres. Gräber’s latest unit is LTH model powered by a 48 volt/300Ah lithium-ion battery pack which also includes a 220 volt electric motor.

Supplied by local distributor Sahalift, the company now has three lithium-ion LTH units and two diesel EVO units, having taken the country’s first last year - see: First Jibbi 1670 in Germany.

Managing director Alex Gräber, said: “The demand for fully electric platforms is growing and we are pleased that the Jibbi 1670 is now available as an electric platform."

Established in 2002, Gräber offers a range of boom, scissor, trailer and truck mounted lifts as well as mobile cranes and telehandlers from its seven locations in south east Germany. It is also a member of System Lift, the German association of independent regional rental companies.
