Three Böckers for Hofmann

German crane rental company Hofmann has taken delivery of a Böcker truck crane, trailer crane and spider/tracked crane.

The 12 tonne Böcker AK 52 aluminium truck crane features a four section main boom and a three section luffing jib for a 52 metre tip height. Mounted on a three axle MAN TGM 26.320 chassis, it has a maximum radius of 45 metres and can take three tonnes out to a 17 metre radius with a height of 31 metres. It has also been supplied with the manufacturer’s PK 600-D work platform attachment, which offers a 600kg maximum capacity.

The company has also taken delivery of a 1.5 tonne AHK 30 KS trailer crane. Featuring a three section main boom plus a three section luffing jib, it offers a 31 metre tip height and a maximum radius of 25 metres, at which it can handle up to 100kg. Power comes from a Kubota diesel.

Finally, it has taken a hybrid RK 36/2400 spider crane which has a maximum boom length of 35 metres and 2,400kg maximum lift capacity. Like the AK 52, it has been supplied with a 250kg PK 250-D platform attachment along with a glass handling hook attachment.

All three models feature the manufacturer’s BöckerConnect remote telematics system to provide real-time information on the performance and location of the machines as well as any error codes, diagnostics and service history. They have also been supplied with a range of accessories such as work platforms, tipping skips, roof file distributors and material handling forks.

Established in 1962, Hofmann offers a fleet of 240 mobile cranes, including 60 truck mounted cranes, as well as more than 150 access platforms and a haulage fleet. Combined with its partner company’s Franza Bracht and Wilden, it has 15 locations throughout North Rhine-Westphalia.
