Gigalift takes 15,000th Ruthmann

German rental company Gigalift has taken delivery of Ruthmann's 15,000th truck mounted platform – a TB 270 pro.

The milestone model features a five section straight telescopic boom to offer a 27 metre working height and up to 18.1 metre outreach with a 100kg platform capacity. Maximum capacity is 250kg. Mounted on 3.5 tonne Mercedes Sprinter chassis, it offers an overall length of 7.5 metres and a height of three metres. The company has also placed an order for a 26 metre TBR 260 truck mounted platform.

Ruthmann built its first truck mounted platform in 1954, adding a telescopic model in 1956. Today the company has a range of more than 27 models with working heights from 16 to 90 metres.
