Next generation Valla for Hird

UK sales and rental company Hird has taken delivery of a battery powered eight tonne Valla V80R pick & carry crane into its rental fleet.

Unveiled in 2020, the V80R was the first model in the company’s newly designed range which now includes the 11 tonne V110R and the 3.6 tonne V36R.

The V80R features a three section boom plus a short hydraulic swing away extension with a three tonne rating. Similar to the larger V110R, it is able to extend the distance between the counterweight and front axle by 600mm and features a front cross bar stabiliser to increase capacities by up to 40 percent.
