Dinolift adds hybrid truck mount

Finnish manufacturer Dinolift has launched a new hybrid truck mounted lift, the 23 metre 230VTH.

Mounted on a 3.5 tonne chassis, the electric powered superstructure features a four section telescopic boom and pedestal mounted platform offering a maximum outreach of 15.1 metres with 100kg platform capacity, or 11.3 metres with the maximum 230kg capacity. 180 degree platform rotation is standard, while slew is 355 degrees. The overall travel dimensions with the Mercedes Sprinter Basic chassis are 7.75 metres long by 2.26 metres wide with an overall height of 2.96 metres.

The front and rear outriggers are both beam and jack, with the front angled forward for an out and forward effect. Automatic levelling is standard, while the outriggers can be set inboard, out on one side only, or fully extended to an overall width of 3.2 metres.

The new Dino 230VTH hybrid

The machine is powered by a 48 volt lithium-iron phosphate (LiFePo) battery pack, said to be good enough to work a full day without the need for recharging. However, should this be required the machine will operate in a traditional manner from the diesel engine on the chassis, which also recharges the battery pack thanks to a standard 1kW inverter and high voltage battery charger.

All other features are the same as the standard Dino 230VT, including user friendly controls and an easy entry basket with non-slip stairway. The overall weight of 3,500kg includes a driver and passenger, the weight of 90 percent full tank and a full AdBlue tank.

The new machine will make its first appearance at Platformers' Days in Karlsruhe on Friday. See our Events section for details.
